Mind Haven provides a platform connecting users with licensed mental health professionals for counselling sessions via video, chat, and in-person meetings. We also provide educational mental health resources and articles.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; harass, abuse, or threaten other users or counsellors; share false or misleading information; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform; or use the service to provide medical advice if you are not a licensed professional.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Mind Haven, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Medical Disclaimer
Mind Haven is NOT a substitute for emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or are in immediate danger, please call your local emergency services immediately. Our counsellors provide supportive counselling but do not provide medical diagnoses or prescribe medication.
8. Limitation of Liability
Mind Haven is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from counselling sessions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mind Haven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of Mind Haven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
